Abstract

The possibility of biogas obtaining in a pharmaceutical plant anaerobic wastewater treatment process, which contains antibiotics of different classes (tetracycline, norfloxacin, cephalosporin, penicillin) has been studied. The enzymatic process was conducted in the mesophilic regime (37 ± 1 ° C) using free-floating and granulated anaerobic sludge. As granulation centers, talc-based sorbents were used. It was shown that wastewater treatment efficiency depends on the inoculum type, wastewater component composition and antibiotics content. With the use of granulated anaerobic sludge, during distillery wastewater treatment with norfloxacin content 10 mg / dm3 and tetracycline 191 cm3 / g of wastewater the biogas yield reaches 254 cm3 / g of wastewater, and methane content reaches 70%.
